Phil Mettille aka D.P.M. is a Philadelphia based DJ and Producer. This Philadelphia native grew up during the 80’s in an era when dance music and hip hop just began to take shape. This music and its culture was his way of life. It was then he decided he wanted to be a DJ and a producer. Some of his influences are Philadelphia DJ’s Jazzy Jeff, Don Mack and Jeff Rice. Others include Junior Vasques, Danny Tenaglia, Armand Van Helden, and the list goes on.

Phil’s career as a DJ began in the early 90s playing small clubs, bars, college parties and professional sporting events. Phil started working with Power Play in the mid 90’s, cultivating his skills as a club DJ playing at the area’s premiere nightspots. Simultaneously Phil challenged himself to become a “complete” DJ. Performing at hundreds of weddings at private events.

Phil had the privilege to mix alongside and learn from some very talented people. Their influence and success made him strive to enhance his skills and master a crowd. Playing to hundreds, sometimes thousands of people, he emceed special events including weddings, performed live mix shows, secured residencies and guest appearances at many of the area’s biggest venues. Phil is dedicated to delivering an experience that exceeds expectations, his caring for the customer is second to none.
